What an incredible and challenging journey cycling from London to The Hague! This trip was a true test of endurance, filled with unexpected bike problems that pushed me to my limits. But just when things got tough, the kindness of strangers and the support of friends lifted my spirits and kept me going. It’s amazing how resilient your body and mind can be when you’re truly in the present moment. I had never cycled 100km in a single day before this adventure, but this journey showed me what’s possible.
A massive thank you to the amazing people who joined me along the way:
John: For your incredible company cycling all the way to Gravesend.
Damien: For pushing through with me to Dunkirk.
Mathéo: A huge thank you for traveling to Dunkirk to join me on the final leg home to The Hague!
This was, without a doubt, one of the best trips of my life. If you’ve ever considered a small adventure like this, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s worth every pedal stroke!

Super !!! Gran experiencia !!! Se necesita mucha condición física !! Wooo padrísimo !!!!
Liked your video, entertaining ! Hope you and your friend had a great time in The Hague. And what did the doctor say ? I hope all is fine.
Well, take care and be aware of the Dutch hills (the wind). 🙃
Great video mate ! I cannot wait to watch your next journey !
Super padre el video y la experiencia
Yaay go Chris!
First time on youtube whoop whoop aha
Liked the end !
Trop chouette ! Il est canon ton pote math 😂
Suuper!!! 😊
EXCELENTE 👌 CHRISTOPHER felicidades
My guess is Mateo had a Giant Blazer with suspension in the rear frame. I've been looking for such a bike myself. Or a Gazelle Air Glider, a comparable one.
What brand and type did you ride?
Genial 🎉🎉
Saludos !!!
Fun video and it looked like a great journey.
I biked the "Pieterpad" this summer which is also about 500km and i highly recomend it for your next trip.
Kuddos from a fellow Hagenees. 🙂
Wow, Great video!!😊
Great bike ride. …👍
Brilliant Christopher. Watching as I’d like to do this someday. 14:32
John (uk cyclist) seems a good bloke, though his view on origins of “Gravesend” town name are doubtful. More likely from a Grove (of trees) or a Grieve (as in Dutch ‘Graf’, a Count or Lord)
I’m sure English speakers murder the pronunciation of Dutch place names, and visitors to uk equally get many uk names funnily wrong. Greenwich is more like “Gren-itch”…no W
Well done!🎉 Looks like you had a great time, even with the issues along the way. I just did Dublin to Amsterdam 2 weeks ago. 1200km by myself, and it was great. I highly recommend it to anyone. Go on an adventure!
Why off the road tires?
Why not smooth tires?
Wow … I went to London and back to The Hague by train. We enjoyed staying in London, but love living in The Hague. I hope your chest is fine again, after that nasty fall.
00:25 Across how many countries?
American here. I never knew that about Pocahontas. That poor girl had a crazy life. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. It’s Vlissingen not Vlessingen. Text on the chart 😊
16:50 it's vlissingen not vlessingen 😉
Great video! Loved it, since I want to do something similar!
Why didn't you just heighten the saddle on Matteo's bike?? That takes like 10 seconds!
Wise decision to take the train for that last bit on the Day One.
So nice to have good music on a young YT channel before monetization rules and laws prohibit that.
I made the same trip middelburg – Rotterdam 8 years ago on my bike, about 90 km .. it was tough, but i wanted to do it.. thanks for the video and good luck to you..
American here ..#1…she didnt marry him…he kidnapped her when she was 14…..#2….they brought the diseases to native americans who had no immunity to them,so those diseases spread very quickly …this is a great example of white washed history…
26:55 I spy with my little eye: a saddle that's way too low. Costs a lot of extra energy and it's bad for your knees.
Bridge after bridge after bridge after bridge. That's because you are crossing a delta. The delta of the rivers Scheld and Meuse and Rhine. 100 Years ago this trip would have cost you days. No bridges or dams. Only ferries.
Next time you need a better preparation and especially saddle position. The saddle position is to low for your figure; you looses to much energy with every paddle. You can 'nt stretch your legs properly.
New subs! Nice one!
