Riding a small cruiser and riding a lightweight adventure bike are two completely different worlds — and in this video, I’m taking you through that transition.
Comfort, posture, suspension, handling, long-distance touring… everything changes when you move from a relaxed, low-seat cruiser to a more capable adventure machine.

In this episode, I compare my personal long-term cruiser experience with the feel and versatility of a modern lightweight adventure bike — not in a spec-sheet way, but in real travel situations.

If you’re thinking about switching categories, planning your next trip, or simply curious how a cruiser mindset transforms once you hit gravel and rougher roads, this one’s for you.

Bikes used in this comparison:
– My small-displacement cruiser (Meteor 350)
– My lightweight adventure bike (CFMoto 450MT)

  1. Have you centred your dial ?
Clearly done a lot of upgrades including tubeless be nice if you are able to give full break down an costs
Looking at getting a low mileage second hand base model which upgrades would you recommend
I do also like the gurrilla 450 as it’s so light weight

  2. I like the Royal Enfield; its reliability and price are very reasonable, and you've made many modifications to it, which means it's really customizable

  3. I've radically changed styles of bikes myself. I actually traded-in my
SR 300 RR style to get my Royal Enfield Meteor 350 in (Aurora blue 💙) it now has almost 4.000 kilometers on it. Haven't had a single problem. She runs beautifully, extremely comfortable as well! Mine came with the front wind fairing, and the pilot and co-pilot seats were the "Touring set" which is another upgrade it came with from factory, and also "the shifter of heel/toe" is
bliss!! It took a couple of days to get used to it… The bike came with beautiful spoked rims which gives it the entire classic look . I've taken her on several 300-400 kilometer rides and it performed perfectly .
Even the sound is beautiful 😍 I live on the outskirts of Madrid Spain Europe and here you don't need to put away the bike for winter, you can basically ride all year round.

Your videos have always been very informative, which I'm sure have helped many others!👍 Safe riding to all.

  4. Are those mirrors by any chance from a Moto Guzzi v7? They look identical to mine 🙂 and yeah, your Meteor looks sweet! Is it hard to maintain it over the colder part of the year? My v7 has exposed aluminum pretty much only on the rims and after the winter I needed a LOT of time to get them look acceptable again …

  5. Das Video ist soo klasse, macht spass zu schauen. Weiter so und ich wollte fragen, gibt es dein Buch auch auf deutsch?? Wie drehe ich ein Video??? Gruß Tomas
