Shift to highest gear. Pull the brake lever to the bar. You’ll see it.

Shift into the hardest gear on the rear and easier gear on the front, undo the cable(s) at the derailleur, and then you’ll be able to pull the cable housing between the shifter and the frame away from the shifter. The pull the brake lever and push the cable out through the shifter (inside to out)
