Got these knock offs on Amazon, actually incredibly good build quality. Also was my first time installing bar tape. Don't look too closely… Absolutely love the ride of these bars!
Has anyone got any recommendations for thicker and softer bar tape? It may just be due to me not riding bar tap before but I’m not liking how firm it feels. I might end up scrapping it and installing some long neck grips and just having bar tape on the top 🤷

I would be a little concerned with how short your brake lines are. If they’re hydraulic it might be annoying to replace them but it looks like they are stretched pretty tight the way they are.
Alternatively you could install the brake levers on the lower part of the grip section. This would require you to rewrap the bars though which is also annoying.

Zinnino, a chinese company, makes a carbon version which I’ve been using for a few years now on my Giant XTC. I love them, great ergonomics.

Are these steel? I had the surly ones, and they were cool, but heavy as all get outÂ
