Bought this old Miele frame for cheap and found that this screw is broken off flush inside the dropout. Figured it probably isnt worth trying to remove. It is alright to ride the bike without adjustment screws? What advantage do they give vs seating the wheel all the way back? Im using a shimano 105 1050 groupset for this build.

It’s fine, they’re just there to help with getting the same alignment once you’ve set it up the first time. If the wheel axle nuts are done up correctly, they shouldn’t move about.
Shouldn’t, but they might. It would be good to have the screw on there.
