Still new and learning about all this stuff. I got some cult butter pegs, the flanges on the nuts won’t fit inside the pegs. Are there certain nuts that provide clearance or should I be looking for a different set of pegs to fit around the flange.

Many stock complete bikes have 19mm nuts on the rear axle, my WTP had ones that were larger at the flange than 17mm nuts and many, if not all, pegs are designed to work with the 17mm ones.
