Steel frame, single speed, sprung leather seat, alt bars with cow horn grips.

There are even model-specific frame bags available (though I'm hesitant at their price…) and the bars are prepared to take a sleep system roll. (Read: coat and wool blanket).

The bike also sports a weird wheel size – 26×1-1/2, which should be 40-571- and needs obsolete beaded-edge tyres.

Does it get any more hipstery and xbiking than a vintage Swiss army bike? 🙃

  1. I love it. I have a hardtail I bought about 10 years ago when I thought I might get into some actual mountain biking that I’ve since converted to a very similar form factor, though not nearly as tweed textured. Racks, bars.. even ditched the knobbly gripper tires for some tubeless Maxxis Grifter BMX tires for their smooth on-road profile while still being wide and squishy for the soft stuff.
