  1. Sorry, I don’t think what I wrote posted, I bought off marketplace for 30, and only changed the pedals so far any advice would be welcome!

Looks alright. Chain’s a bit slack.

I don’t get on with contis especially Ultra sports. They may work ok for you.

Dial in the fit and ride it!

Set the seatpost so you aren’t toe pointing or bending your knee too much at the top of stroke. Move that quill adapter up and down to fit your core strength. Don’t worry about how it looks, you should be comfortable first and foremost to prevent injury.

Are you fit enough? Any leg problems? Will you endure the commute and still have energy for study/work? Strong enough to squid? How’s traffic in your commute hours?

Study the road, where it’s alright where not to go to check if you need any alternate routes or nah.

Can you change between bike and bus in your area? Specific hours, when?

Ask your teachers to keep the bike inside for safety if you want

Invest in some tools or go around campus and find another cyclist and ask for help in maintaining and tools

I’d say the chains is a bit loose.

  5. Put on some bar tape and the chain is sagging a bit like other said, I would also just strap the unlock to the rear rack I think it kinda look awkward there. Good looking bike anyways ! And for 30 bucks that’s nice

  6. If you want to run it single speed (if it has a flip flop hub and a freewheel) you will want a rear brake. You should also maybe remove a link from the chain to reduce the slack. Definitely put bar tape on the bars and maybe a new seat. Anything else is really up to you.
