I hope this is the right sub apologies if not.
I'm trying to change the cassette on my nephews bike, I've never done it before but the videos online seem to just turn this to the left with the tool as pictured. I have 2 wheels from different bikes and I can't seem to turn either one, what am I doing wrong?

Do you have a vice? Clamp that tool in there and then place the wheel on top so you can use it as leverage.

Sorry, are you trying to remove the cassette in the first pic? Have you got a chain whip to hold the cassette while you turn the tool? (Just FYI it’s better to use clockwise and anticlockwise rather than left and right.)
