does this look true to size? or does it look like im trying to force my head into a child's helmet?

  1. If it’s not comfortable it’s too small. If it moves around it’s too big.

How are we supposed ro know? What size is it? What are the claimed measurements of the helmet? What are the actual measurements of the helmet? What are the measurements of your head? With so little information my assumption is you just bought the wrong size.

No one looks good in a bike helmet imo. However, better that than being dead.

I mean if it fits it fits. But some designs not for all heads. This one may not be the one for you homie.

The helmet fit looks pretty good—could be a bit bigger I guess; you just got a lot of head under it 🤣. Rarely seen a helmet that didn’t look goofy.

Saw a post in ladycyclists bemoaning her new helmet for looking too mushroom shaped. I was like “what?” If I were more into caring what I looked like, that would have made me permanently self conscious about looking too mushroomy in a helmet!

  7. it seems like it’s the right size for you for this model. it will do the job you need it for, it looks secure. if you feel too exposed around the sides of your head you could try a different model that isn’t so sleek. some bulge out a bit further than this minimalist design.

Sorry brother, I got a big head too. Size 7 7/8, I’ve had luck with the Specialized Align II. At the very least I’d say go in person to try helmets on and see which is best

  9. That helmet looks too small. Don’t buy a helmet for 275 € if you don’t even know if it fits your head. Honestly go for a helmet around 100-150 €. That will do the job perfectly as well.

  10. The only people that look cool in helmets are fighter pilots and tank commanders.

If the helmet isn’t putting uncomfortable pressure on your head, you look fine as hell in that helmet. Bonus point for your helmet if you dont hear too much wind noise.

    I think you look great.

Did you measure your head? There is usually a little bit of overlap between sizes. Maybe you can size up?

As long as it fits, few people look good in a helmet. I have an odd head, I have a head like one of the the three immortals you see statues of in Chinese restaurants. My then girlfriend told me I looked like a beluga whale with an undersized beret. But wearing a helmets has saved me from certain head trauma on several occasions, so get one that fits wear it every time and dont think about how it might look or not.

  14. As long as it fits and protects your brain. Try a cycling cap underneath if you feel like it’s too small for the rest of your head, it might help balance it out a little.

Bro, it’s a good looking helmet and the angle you took the picture from doesn’t do you a favor. If it fits keep it.

If it fits your head without rocking back and forth and isn’t so tight that it’s hurting your noggin, it fits. Everyone looks weird in bike helmets and I don’t think anyone will notice. The only people I notice are the ones out on a road where the speed limit is 50 mph and there are people biking with NO helmet. I saw the same couple on bikes not once…. but TWICE. So they are just crazy.

  17. Kask is the only helmet I’ve ever worn that doesn’t feel bulbous. When I got my first Kask I also felt weird. I was used to bike helmets feeling like a giant mushroom on my head. Over time, I got used to it. And now I can’t stand wearing any other helmet brand. I think they base their designs on like bouldering helmets. Kask helmets are known for a sleek, thin to the head look that people go for. You either like it or you don’t.
