Frame is an old Holdsworth Sirocco (?), catalogue dates it to 1948 earliest. Someone added canti bosses at some point and also replaced the rear dropouts with shimano.

Running a 2×9, 11-36 on the rear and 34 50 up front. The rear derailleur is a rapid rise so it's sprung the opposite way than normal, so the friction shifters both 'move' the gear ratio in the same way.

  1. First looking at the pics before reading the description I was like does velo orange have a new model called the 1950?

    This thing is super sick.

The bike has vertical dropouts which would be form the 70’s at the earliest. Is that original paint? I’m guessing this frame is from the 80’s? Whats the serial number?
