First parts-up build and it’s been a super fun, though sometimes stressful, experience. Overall, I would recommend it for anyone thinking about a new bike that wants to know more about how the whole thing goes together. This Revel fits standard parts pretty much across the board, is infinitely tinkerable, and has official clearance for 50mm tires. I could go for a Lauf fork, some burly MTB tires, and throw an internally wired dropper post in there sometime in the future, who knows. For now, full rigid with semi slicks has been an absolute blast to ride. The bike weighs 21 lbs (9.5kg) as pictured. (without headunit)

Special shoutout to Light Bicycle for the amazing service they provide. The wheels are beautiful, feel super solid and fast (350+ miles ridden so far) and the onyx hubs are a revelation. Build quality is top notch, customer service is amazing and helpful. Highly recommend LB wheels for anyone doing a build.
