  1. I keep running into these presta valves and they've been a pain to fill, thanks for the advice ill have to get an adapter. Although id like to point out that the type of Schrader valves you find on bikes are designed to withstand 145psi. Schrader also make steel versions which can withstand up to 5000psi. The only real advantage to a presta appears to be the thinner, longer stem with finer control of the air pressure, although they take longer to fill up and deflate due to the narrower stem.

  2. I want to find the guy who invented this over engineered garbage and then thought it was a good idea to put it on a bicycle and smack the 💩 out of him. Advantages are it’s skinny? What? It can withstand high pressure? It’s a bicycle not the fuel valve for a rocket ship. What are we doing people?

  3. Just got a free bike because a guy got a bike, it was presta, he didn't have a presta pump, never got around to getting the presta pump, never got into cycling, and now I got a free never ridden bike, lol.
