So my situation (owned the bike 6 months) should fall under the first bullet. For you all that have delt with this, what were their "discretionary charges"

as long as your shock is defective and does not look like it was dragged through the rocks you’ll be fine
They’ll take care of you on this one unless your shock was visibly and egregiously abused. Even then, they’ll probably take care of ya
