I know the Aft Stem is an April Fool (mind you, if it wasn’t April 1, I might have believed it!) but someone actually did this for real just recently on their Yuba Supercargo cargo bike and apparently it works well enough (you have to look at the photo closely – I wouldn’t have noticed if someone hadn’t mentioned it in the comments):

  2. Forward bend seatpost, saddle mounted facing aft, get that donkey kick into play. Requires ass-steering attachment.
