  1. In Germany you get 0,25 cents back for every can or bottle. ofc you also pay those 25 extra cents when buying the product but when returning it you get it back, that’s why most ppl don’t throw them away and always tend to return them (specially since it doesn’t matter where you return it long as the super market is in Germany) so giving that many bottles would get you 68,75 euros or almost 78$ if we converted them

  2. When i was little we used to crush our pop cans and recycle them, i think they stopped taking crushed ones because they would pay you by weight and people were cheating lmao

  4. In Canada we get $.10 / bottle, aluminum can, and milk beverage containers we also pay a non-refundable recycling fee. So in actuality we only get
    $ .05 per bottle.

  5. For fun the last 2 years, I have picked up a 1000, and counting, empty canes and bottles, when out walking or bicycling, have invested the money I got for them, so now every 5. day gets the money equal 1 cane.
    one way to start a passiv income 😁

  6. In my state that'd be $27.50 but you can only return $14.40 at a time; you have to bring a partner with you when you go out canning (much safer this way, "They" won't f**k with you if you're in a group, and it's so much easier to have one person stand on the corner and keep an eye out and watch the wagon/cart while the other person runs up to the porch/balcony/driveway or over/under/through the fence to grab the bags of cans so you don't have to do as much digging through trash or walk as far or look around as hard…) or you can just go down the line and do $5.00 hand-count at each Plaid Pantry and Chevron and then when ya get down past each of the Freddy's/WinCo/Safeway/Etcetera to do yer $14.40 each!)
    But there's mad competition- at any given time, at least within my city/state, within five to ten miles of any business that does accept bottle can recycling redemption, you have at least 5 to 100 , ages 18 to 80, other people doing it 24/7 no exaggeration. It's slim pickings out here. Way too many people try to do it like a full time job and Do absolutely no other work or side hustle. Canning only works part time on the side In addition to doing day labor temp agency gigs and part time jobs and only to like get bus fare to go to work, it shouldn't be like the only thing you're doing fer money. Ya sposed to use the cans to get the money to Make the money (i.e. Busfare for work or if you're really desperate and lucky maybe enough cans to get a sack to flip and go from there…😊😙👍💯)

  7. I recycle ♻️ aluminum and plastic, but I wait until I have at least six full black trash bags (separate bags for each type, of course). That way, I can get closer to $40. Therefore, I usually go once a year. Larger families could easily collect way more than I do. ✌️
