Sturmey hub sounds like it’s running dry after cleaning

Hey all – I cleaned my Brompton this past weekend and think I may have gotten some WD-40 into the 3-speed hub. Presumably this dissolved some of the grease internally, so now after another ride it sounds like it’s running dry (or drier than before, when it was almost silent except for the clicks).

I’ve seen folks recommend using ~10mL of motor oil too re-lube it through the side hole, has anyone tried that? Or do to have slight l another recommendation? Trying to shoot taking the hub apart but willing to if it’s the best option. Thanks!
