Rather new to gravel, coming mainly from XC mtb world as I have always preferred to ride in nature, but after moving close to Paris, there is also lot of nice road, bicycle path, and sometime it require a few km between two forest that was pretty annoying with my old mtb.
I pulled the trigger with a cube Nuroad c62 ex and o can’t be happier ! I can go fast to go further and discover new areas, I can go almost wherever I want.
Spring is only starting, such a wonderful time ! Ride on guys and enjoy your countryside 🙂

Wow c’est chaud, je sais pas comment mais j’ai eu le pressentiment que c’était en France rien qu’en voyant les images ! Je sais pas si c’est le type de chemins, pourtant ils m’ont pas l’air particulièrement spécifiques !

I agree! I always describe gravel bikes as a bit crap at everything, but at least they can do everything!
My mtb is far better off road, but on road is such a pain. Road bike is great on road, but it wouldn’t be good in the woods! Gravel can do it all near enough.
Obviously, it won’t do downhill stuff, but I don’t ride that anyway. For me, they’re great bikes, and my gravel bike is probably my all time favourite.
