I recently replaced my 10 year old Endurace CF 9 with an Endurace SLX 8. I love my old Endurace but 10 years seemed like a good time for a change. The SLX 8 seems pretty nice. I do like the electronic shifting and disc brakes but I thought 10 years of changes would have brought more. I think my favourite upgrade might be the lack of a saddlebag.
Every bike shop I went into told me how much things had changed (perhaps that isn't too unsurprising). The bike is even 600g heavier. Maybe I need to ride it a bit more and check my Strava times to fully appreciate the aerodynamic improvements 🙂
This isn't anything against Canyon and I'm not disappointed with the new bike. Just surprised.
