Is there something wrong with this fork or is it ok?

Has it always worked like that?

Oldest trick in the book, ride a fork for three years without servicing, then lube the seals and let a lot of air out for when you’re selling it.. wooooe these things are plush! Air it up and see how it feels, might be due a little rebuild service.
