I have one similar to that but it’s in rough shape, I believe they are made by Panasonic in Japan and not as sought after as the American made paramounts

I have a ‘91 Paramount PDG that I built up with Shimano 600 Tri-color. That Tange OS tubing really rides like a magic carpet.

I didn’t realize there were Japanese Paramounts. Was the Waterford factory still open when they made these? What was the story behind them? I know that Ray Schwinn started making Waterford and Gunnar bikes in the old Paramount factory after Schwinn went bankrupt.
