When I was racing much more often, I had raced a C59 and to this day I think it is my Top 3 bikes I have ever ridden. I currently have top end modern bikes. But the appeal of these older frames being so cheap really have me tempted to do a new build as it is so much bang for your buck. The XR4 is on loan from my cousin, and I am still feeling it out.
I really like the C59 and XR4 for their timeless designs. But am a little more swayed by the C59 due to being made in Italy.

I’d take the Colnago *frame* 10 times out of 10. But, I genuinely *hate* this generation of SRAM. Conversely, I think the Dura-Ace 9100 group set is one of the best looking groups of all time. But, I am not a fan at all of the prepreg Bianchi, or newer Bianchi’s in general.
Ignoring Campagnolo, I think the dream build here is going to be the Colnago with mechanical 9100.
Bianchi, because I know fuck all and that color does things to me
Colnago, because it’s a Colnago. Nothing else needs to be said or considered.
That’s a tough one. I would take neither. The Bianchi uses a weird proprietary seatpost, and the Colnago appears to not have a replaceable rear derailleur hanger, so both have the proverbial Achilles’ Heel. Maybe the Colnago does have one and it just blends in too well to spot it?
Colnago. I happen to like this Colnago over this Bianchi. Though I’m a sucker for Celeste.
Me quedo con giant
Unpopular opinion : Bianchi hasn’t made a single good looking carbon frame
I think that Colnago looks stiff and spine-punishing. I bet you get a much nicer ride on the Bianchi.
