so i have this steel frame and wheels i found in different hard rubbish piles and would love to make them work together, can i stretch this frame to fit the 40c tires? theyre so close already also any advice on how to do it would be appreciated. or should i just keep the tyres dor something else?

i use a c clamp and a socket taped together to dimple out where it’s too close to the tire. go very slow and check it over and over till it has a few mm of clearance. it’s a bad idea tho and have ruined a frame. if it forms a crease in the metal it’s toast and will crack at that point. look up dimpling steel frames and get some ideas

Has it had a front end crash as it appears a bit warped at the arrows?
The headtube angle looks a little off.
