If you’re in Germany, just keep in mind that while it is necessary, no one will actually punish you for not having it.
There are racks that have a light mount right at the back, unfortunately, yours don’t which makes it a bit more complicated.
Decathlon has one that uses a rubber strap if you really need it.

Reflective tape on the fender / mudguard

I got one from a company called [Flectr](https://www.flectr.bike/collections/flectr-clip) that came with a flat round magnet. I glued that magnet to my fender and can pop the reflector on and off whenever I want. Sometimes I magnetize it to a jacket while jogging or something. So it’s nice to be movable.

Why don’t you get a proper rear light instead of just a reflector?

If you’re just going for reflective…. How about tape?
remove screw – then slip it on the left seat stay – replace screw – or – put it on the left rack support – or – “rig-it” to the back of your rack

Reflectors are useless. Trash it and put a light/radar there.

Red reflective tape down the fender

I put a flashing light on my helmet, and one on my rear rack which is metal. You may need to engineer a bracket for the plastic rear rack shown.

I have a few fender mounted reflectors.

Put it in the garbage and go get a rear flashing light that attaches to the rack

For this bike, with that nicely squared-off rear fender, I would pick up a piece of 3M Diamond Grade red reflective tape off eBay, and put it on the center of the fender. Or any DOT Class 2 red prismatic tape will work well. It’s still a good idea to add a taillight like everyone has said, but if your legal obligation is to have a red reflector, the reflective tape will help cover your bases there if you get hit and lawyers try to pick apart your case.

Good thing my pannier bags work as two giant freaking reflectors.

Reflectors are for nerds and germans.
Put a bike light on that grab handle.
On the back of you rack.

Rear reflectors are worthless. Get a proper light
