Hey,
One year ago i bought my mtb from my dad today i wanted to clean and grease my bb (it was making light noise) and found my crank looking like this. Is it normal after 4/5 years and where do These worn spots come from. Do i need to replace them?

Bearings, maybe internally routed cables. My cranks look about like that.. I wouldn’t replace them until there’s play or it’s blowing through BBs
