  1. Not an e-bike. A Surron Light Bee e-moto bike is a small electric motor cycle with no pedals to turn. Only resembles a bicycle by having two wheels.

  2. I’m more concerned about these things on bicycle or multi use trails. It was unfortunate this happened to the kid. But he made the decision to ride in the street.

Just the other day a kid on an e-scooter almost crashed into me when we were on a bike trail.

  3. A neighbors son started hanging out with some other kids who have de-restricted Class-2 E-bikes (push the button, go fast). On one of his first rides with them, he was blasting through a parking lot, saw a car crossing (it had right-of-way), slammed on the brakes and did a Superman right into the side of the car. He broke both arms and wrists. I heard about this from his father at a hardware store (coincidental meeting) who was buying a bidet so that he didn’t have to wipe his son’s ass anymore.

Having almost been run over by one of these e-bikes while on my MTB, I fully support this determination. These are not bikes, these are electric motorcycles.
