hi! i’m just getting into the alt bike world and have been hoping to get something new for gravel/commuting in addition to my 90s trek aluminum 1000 road bike. the catch here is that I’m 5’0 tall so finding bikes that fit is difficult. which one do we think is worth it? both cool looking frames, leaning toward the 850 but feel that the price is slightly steep. any advice would is much appreciated 🙂

Tbh I don’t really see much between them, though maybe I’m missing something.
800 series is 26” wheels, 700 series is 700c wheels. For an XS frame size, 26” wheels might be an advantage in regard to toe overlap, and geometry compromises.
And yeah, that price is way too high for the 850. Be patient and you can find one for less than $100.
850 is a full CrMo frame and they are nice bikes. The 720 is a solid choice and would make an easy rolling commuter that will easily fit 700×38 tires. Of the two, I think I would pick the Multitrack. My 11 year old daughter (4’10”) loves her 730.
