  1. Realistically, no wider than that.

    I’m sure 1 mm wider would still be OK, but to get such a tiny gain would require trial and error with different tire brands.

  2. Ah, the Panaracer Semi Slick in 32 …. Too bad they don’t make that size anymore. The 35 was more like 37 on my 21 IW rims and I think 30 wouldn’t be wide enough (bike has 35mm clearance)

    Best bet would be to check the specs on the manufacturers site. Or just ballpark it and wear a helmet and test ride in different conditions.

    Buy the tires off amazon and if you no like…. just return em.

  4. I like 32’s. In that frame, I wouldn’t go any bigger. In my own frame I run a 40, soooooooo yeah.

    That’s max. I’d go a little smaller because mud will fill that like grout.

    For clarity, this is on a road bike with a stated max clearance of 32mm, used on the road in good conditions.
