I cannot get this OneUp EDC Lite tool out. The black cap just pulls off. I have tried needle nose pliers, a thin flat-tip screwdriver, even an o-ring pick.
The stem is completely loose and has made no difference in getting it out.
Any ideas?

Where is the black cap that helps you remove the tool?
Have you flipped it over yet?
Rotate the whole plastic piece that holds the tool. Punch out the bolt after.
