It’s not gonna be better than the Marlin, might be even heavier, with fewer gears. Not worth $450 new, and it looks like there’s something wrong with the front tire.Â
Edit: hard tails can be really good commuters. Try out less knobby tires (like Schwalbe G one or Conti Race King) and make sure that your suspension is set up correctly and working well. Little things can make a huge difference.Â
