Any clue what this is? It looks abandoned at my new workplace so I’m gonna ask the foreman if I can take it, always wanted a bike with a rod brake and the chainguard is some sort of fabric, very unique. “old veteran” doesn’t give me any results on google. Bit of paint and steel wool should fix it up

Probably isn't as old as it looks, seems to have some plastic, maybe genuine, maybe knock off Sturmey Archer 3 speed? No date on the hub. But it has no rust holes at least.
