Buy cheap bikes and immediately put 4x what you paid right into it!
Found these for my wife and I. Made little lake shore trail bikes. They came with period correct Cannondale bags on the racks. I'm cleaning them up and will re install.
Nice! Yeah I think my last Multitrack I bought for $40 and then put like $600 of parts and accessories on!
These are great bikes and will definitely be a joy to ride! I absolutely love when a couple has matching bikes too!

Seems like you’ve officially figured life out. My current bike was $120 NOS out the box. My new 1x people’s liberation drivetrain knock off was almost 3x that price. Nothing rides like vintage steel.

I’m on my 4th Multitrack build and I agree with the 4x purchase price upgrade.

all too familiar with this sentiment, the pedals on my bikes are worth more than their respective bikes’ purchase price.

All the money you save on the frame & wheels you can spend (and then some) on all the other parts of the bike!

Buy bike for $25. Clean, adjust, upgrade with parts pulled from other $25 bikes. Upgraded bike stolen. Console self with trip to thrift store. Buy working Bridgestone for $12. Repeat.

Great bike. I’d post a picture of my black 720, but it is one of those frames that can be setup many different ways and I have done that, nearly every year since I got it around 2010 or so. Don’t have a current setup picture. Have fun with yours. Don’t stop at the first setup. Try others. Spend even more money.
