A new bridge for cycling and walking was put in place recently in βs-Hertogenbosch (Netherlands).
It arrived by road: transporting the 43 m-long deck required temporary road closures and the removal of traffic signs and signals. Now that the bridge deck is in place it will take a couple of months to finish it all. To be continued!

Awesome
Impressive!
The most dramatic music ever on this channel!
NICE !!
Great precision!
Al de ramptoeristen waren voor niks gekomen.
The fact that it can be delivered via truck instead of being built on site is so nice! So much better than the bridges that have to be built to withstand cars.
Looks like a pre-fab bridge. Is it a pre-fab?
And Den Bosch, the new bridge was there. π
Wish we had infrastructure like this in the UK.
The Dutch know a thing or two about engineering ππ» …hundreds of years building dikes, polders and other clever water defences.
Is die gemaakt van kunststof? ( artificial dust π )
That is impressive and delicate work.
I even admire the temporary platforms in the canal for heavy equipment.
It is great they allowed observers so close to the (slow) action so you could capture the process and share it with the world.
