A new bridge for cycling and walking was put in place recently in ’s-Hertogenbosch (Netherlands).
It arrived by road: transporting the 43 m-long deck required temporary road closures and the removal of traffic signs and signals. Now that the bridge deck is in place it will take a couple of months to finish it all. To be continued!

The Dutch know a thing or two about engineering 👍🏻 …hundreds of years building dikes, polders and other clever water defences.

I even admire the temporary platforms in the canal for heavy equipment.
