That’s annoying, stolen, or you think vibrated off? Seems more likely the former?

You can buy a new one from any Brompton dealer, there’s even a Brompton Junction in NY. They might be interested to see that its just fallen off, it looks like quite a new bike. I wonder if they’d replace it for free. I’ve had a couple of pieces of my bike just vibrate off and I complained to Brompton and they sent me a new piece for free.

No, I think it just came loose and fell out somewhere. Left a message for some local shops in Manhattan to see if anybody can help.
Disappointingly, I just learned that the New York City Brompton Junction shop has permanently closed.

Since Brompton Junction is closed, check BFold and NYC Velo for replacement part availability.

I can’t remember what size it is, but it is a standard bolt you could get at any decent sized hardware store. The pain in the butt part is the plastic topper to tighten/loosen easily. You could use a wrench until you get one of the toppers. Good luck.

There are a few folks that deal with bromptons nyc velo is one and bfold is another.
You can email bfold if you can’t find the clamp elsewhere [https://bfold.com/](https://bfold.com/) . Pretty sure he generally has parts on hand like this.
