The bike cost 60USD with original groupset, practically pristine condition.
I upgraded to 11 speed 105 with around 190USD of parts (brand new shifters and mechs, NOS carbon crankset and $20 wheels)
This bike is going to get a lot of use from now on

If it fits and there is no damage, this is a beautiful early carbon bike, especially at that price.
for $60 even if i didn’t like it I’d just hang it on the wall as art, cool bike
Yes. But the next step is waiting to be told someone got a higher spec version for $5-10 less.

Very cool bike but old early carbon can be sketch. I would go over the entire frame with a powerful light cm by cm to “look” at every surface. Have you “looked” up if there were any recalls or service advisories on this frame type.
Carbon tech has come a long way since the mid-90’s.
