How much space do you give a cyclist? We seem to be hated by many angry motorists , but in the spirit of kindness and trying to spread share understanding, let’s take a look at an example of a safe pass. When is it safe to pass a cyclist? when it’s clear and safe and give them plenty of room as you do. leave 1.5m clearance at speeds of 30mph or lower. obviously more space the faster you are driving!
what do you think about the best place to pass? How much space do you give a cyclist? let’s hear it in the comments

I don't know the minimum – the maximum is 2mm, I believe 😂
Minimum is a meter
If I don’t hit them then they’ve had enough space
30 cms…sod em
Love it when people just openly admit how pathetic and stupid they are. Judging by the comments they have all gravitated to this video.
above them
I heard u can go off by a car doors length
1.5m is the minimum
Depends on how you feel on the day.
1.5m and I would wait and pass without annoying the oncoming traffic.
