Newbie here with limited knowledge of bikes. Found this used for $130. Thoughts? I want a fixie/single speed. Am I right that this is a multi-speed frame that has been reconfigured as a fixie? Does that raise any concern? Thank you!
What you really should be concerned about is the cable between the front brake calliper and the right brake lever. There is no way I’d be getting on a bicycle owned by someone who has ridden or built that.
I’m a roadie and like my 22 gears, so I might be wrong, but I don’t think there is any issue with building up any regular road bike frame with a single or even fixed gear… at least not if done properly.

I have an old trek 2300 moded to a single speed and it’s great. $130 is hard to beat for a bike.
