I am interested in buying the Canyon Endurace Allroad so I was looking for my size. The problem is that I dont really like the look of the recommended XS. So my question is if it would cause a problem for me if I went with a small instead of extra small.
If someone who is 1m75 with an inseamlenght of 84cm, that means that person has the same upperbody is me so that would mean I could fit on a Small.
Help me pls

  1. I am 173/81 and was going for S after testing them out in partner store.
From my feeling it was absolute right size.
Our torso should be very similar and saddle high is adjustable.
So should be good to go.

  2. I prefer the look of a small frame and proportionate stem, than the look of a medium frame with a tiny stem (which you will need on the S) and low seat post.

  3. Get the extra-small. You won’t fit a small well.

Sure maybe you can ride it. But it won’t be comfortable. To ride it you’ll need the seatpost all the way down and a shorter stem (if you even fit the stand over).

A shorter stem will make the bike twitchy and unpredictable to ride.

Go for the bike that fits you (especially if you have the choice when buying new) or you’ll endlessly be chasing a proper fit on the wrong frame
