Just assembled my bike canyon endurace. First bike I've owned with 'semi' internal cables. But seems to be a lot of what I think is cable rattle internally.
Canyon said to take it to a local shop to get diagnosed before returning on warranty. Any thoughts?
Is this amount of cable rattle normal?

I’ll be damned if I can figure out where that noise is coming from. It’s almost like something is rubbing inside the head tube ? I think 🤔 it’s worth your while taking it to a bike shop and asking them to take a look.
It’s normal. I have Canyon Exceed purchased in 2020 and sound the same. Carbon as a material resonates much more than an aluminum frame and the slightest knock of the cables is heard much more. When you ride your bike you won’t hear them. I really don’t like this cable design. It looks futuristic and clean, but it is too complicated and special parts for the headset must be used. Despite all the negative things I said, in 5 years I haven’t had any particular problems in this area. Enjoy your bike!
It sounds to me like internally routed cables slapping inside the frame. You can test the theory but pulling them taught in the front while doing that to take out the slack.
Mechanic didn’t run a sleeve of foam over your hoses
Thanks for the feedback everyone. Think I’ll take it to a shop just to make sure. I pulled the rubber bungs off where the conventional routing would have entered the downtime and peeking in it does seem to have a blue foam sleeve over the cable. So still unsure where the noise is coming from.
If all that noise is coming from your headset, that’s pretty bad, it sounds like a cable sawing on the entrance to your frame, which is usually a nice and burred edge, or some issue with the headset bearings/spacers. Unless you’re very comfortable with internal headset routing I’d take it to a shop. Headset routing is very prone to creaking, and always causes cables to prematurely wear, just as a point of note.
