  1. I suppose this is a tube. Repair kits are not very reliable, so I would suggest you get a new tube. Also always carry spares.

  2. Is the site of that puncture facing a spoke hole in the rim?
If so, the rim tape/strip isn’t doing its job.

If not, we’re gonna need to know more about the issue.

  3. Is that on the inside facing or outside facing side? Check the tire and the rim for anything poking out.

It’s likely that whatever cut the tube is still stuck inside the tire. Have a good look inside the tyre but be careful if checking by feel in case there is something very sharp stuck in it.

  5. Check the rim out, see if there’s anything sharp in there. You might need new rim tape. And then get a new tube.

  6. Thank you for the advice everyone, I can’t see or feel anything on the rim or inside of the tyre or tube so I’m gonna come to the conclusion that I’ve just messed it up somehow, so I’ll buy a new tube and new puncture kit, because it’s probably super old and the sandpaper that came with it was microscopic too

  7. I think the seam is the root of current issues…..its time for a new tube and rim tape / strip – get at least 2 extra of each to have on hand 24/7

The next time you get a flat remove the tube in such a way that allows you to **know** its placement on the rim and within the tyre so you those areas more closely.

  9. If you cant afford a new tube, PM me and I will buy you one. Im sorry you have to struggle like this.

That is a bubble that popped. This happens when there is a slit in the tyre. You may be able to keep the tyre going by adding a boot or just some thick plastic. But start budgeting for a new tyre.
