British English could be Cockney accent, Brummie accent, West Midlands accent, East Anglia accent, Received Pronunciation, Cornwall Heightened Received Pronunciation, Northern Irish accent, Yorkshire accent Bristol accent, Lancashire accent , Welsh could be a Southern Welsh, or Northern Welsh accent, Scouse accent, Geordie accent, Scottish such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Scottish Highlands, . Even in London there are several accents. All these are British accents.
    But I think they mean an English accent not a British accent.
