i bought a bike 2yrs ago and it was left unattended for 1yr. now all the gears is rusted and im planning on replacing it. im actually on a budget so im asking if this gears are good as a replacement for the old rusted ones. (forgive me i know nothing about gears)

If it only goes up to 8 then that should fit as long as it doesn’t have more gears then the bike
