Epic eMTB Ride up Skiddaw via Lonscale Crags ⚡️⛰️

Today’s ride takes on one of the Lake District’s most iconic peaks – Skiddaw – via the stunning (and seriously tough) Lonscale Crags route. This one is all about big climbs, breathtaking views, and putting the eMTB to the test.

Starting from the base, the climb kicks in early with a mix of rocky doubletrack and steep gradients that don’t let up. The assistance definitely earns its keep here, but it’s still a proper leg-burner! As we gain height, the views over Keswick, Derwentwater, and the surrounding fells just keep getting better.

Reaching Lonscale Crags, the terrain gets more technical with loose rock, exposed sections, and that proper mountain feel. From there, it’s a push to the summit of Skiddaw – one of the highest peaks in England – before taking in the incredible panoramic views.
