I’d say replacements are needed. Those creases on the sidewall can end up tearing while on a ride or if you go too low on pressure again without realizing.

I would also lean toward replacing the tires.
Personally, I’ve had no luck with WTB tires. My Nanos also didn’t last long 😞
That being said, I may just be unluckily.

I would still ride those, just keep an eye on the sidewalls and replace them if you notice any tearing.

You have the beginnings of excessive sidewall wear/damage.

However, it is the rubber that has taken most of the “damage “
The nylon casing didn’t show any signs of splitting (hard to see as the pic isn’t clear enough.)
Once you see little fuzzy threads from the casing fatiguing, the it will be time to change it.
But I bet if you keep good psi, the extent of the “damage” will not go any further than what it is now.

BTW. High quality performance MTB tires with low weight and thin sidewalls will always show these X-marks sooner than heavier (and often cheaper) tires.

Keep rolling on them. You still have a lot of tread left.
