I've shipped both RORO and containerized. RORO was relatively cheap back in the day. It's not so cheap anymore, and you are at the mercy of the dock workers, naturally.
International shipping is not for the faint hearted. Your stuff could either be “partially” stolen or damaged, and no one can help you with that. Not even the police or the insurance company you were scammed to pay for some peace of mind. 😅
i dont know a lot about cars, but i suppose i know a thing or two about airplanes, and let me tell you it will be way more expensive than just 30 grand
Yes. And in California, don’t forget to inform the DMV that your car out of the country. Otherwise they will send your registration to collections by the State and they will garnish it from your account.
What is the focus lost at sea or flipped over your car is gone forever you'll never see your $8,000 again I'm not risking it with my race car that thing cost me 2 million dollars just to build it the car itself is a hellcat four turbos two in the front two in the back I was thinking getting rid of the firewall instead and putting them there the back is safer and they don't get that much dust and dirt but I'm not going to risk any of those I'll drive it myself and it's also a show car
I hate all the laws and burocratic aspects on this kind of things. Like dude, if my car is fine and legal in Europe, why would it be an unsafe killing machine in America? That's just straight up government theft
My unc had a hyundai i20, he sold that car while moving to England and bought a new ford one over there, it was like sold for 80% cost with road tax and all, and was a good deal
If you ship the car in ship through container.then pray for God to arrive the ship safely to your destination.you can't expect safe travels where water is like the hell gate & same happens to the flight also.at both sides you have to pay hefty charges while shipping air or water ways transport..😮😮
If car prices hadn’t become so inflated I would say at 30000 to buy a car, you may as well put it into storage and get a new one wherever you go… getting a new car these days is averaging around 50,000 now ughhhhh heaven help me!
Idc about all the paperwork that I have to do, I just wished taxes doesn't exist on imports. Double or triple the price of the car just to get it in my country

How do they get inside and out of the car when they load it inside container?
It's pretty much essential to hire someone to do the paperwork and other legal stuff
Have you heard about, uhm, driving :)?
Air freight is cool
At this point it makes more sense to sell your car and buy a new one in the new country

I would choose by air
I’d never transport my car by boat, I’d fly it. I’d rather risk the plane crashing and the car be somewhat repairable then it be lost at sea
Stolen cars

It's crazy that shipping cars is safer.
Finally a useful informational content for months unlike most of previous videos that talks common sense stuff.

They forgot to mention that it needs to be sealed in oil to prevent corrosion and or salt rot from the air.
