Free Spirits run the gambit when it comes to quality. Some were Huffys, my mom’s was a Steyr, and I had a pair of lovely “Greenbriars” that were very nice Taiwanese bikes.
This looks very nice, though. Not worth much, but as a stylish, reliable, and comfy commuter, I think you scored!

Beautiful bike. Looks like it has lived in a garage for a few years. What, pray tell, is that mechanical attachment on the front hub? Get new tires (EA3) 37-590 and it’s ready to roll. Super find.
