Hi there,
I wanna get to know the world (literally) and I am still in the process to determine what my new build is gonna be. I really just wanna ride a bike made from steel and a steel fork, so there are a few options to choose from. For a while now, I have been looking at this model (JB06) by just bikes from Berlin.
It ticks most of the boxes:
- steel frame and fork
- external routing
- flat mounts
- enough eyelets for pretty much anything (fenders, racks)
- thru axle
- replaceable derailleur hanger
At first I discarded the idea to buy this frame kit, but comparing it to "more reputable" manufacturers, the weight seems to be very similar and the overall design is thought out. It looks a little bland, but the way it I see it being a canvas for whatever I am going to build. Luckily I have seen a similar model in real life, as a guy I know bought their more sportive/aggressive gravel variant (the JB04) and the frame looks it is made quite decently and it rode very well indeed.
Still, I have no first experience with the brand nor the model itself. My goal is to build a bike that is capable to experience the world with and all the possible issues one might face in remote areas.
So does anyone have first hand experience with this specific model and did take it for a +10,000km spin and can tell me about their experience?
Thank you!
