Trying to put Microshift sword 2×10 on my new disc trucker. It’s just barely too high up and rubs when on the smallest chain ring and hardest 3 gears. I know a braze on version exists, but I’m hoping for any advice to get this one to work.

That front derailleur looks really high to me. You want like ~2mm clearance between the derailleur cage and the tips of the crainring teeth.
Lower it about 10ft. In all seriousness, will it clear the chainring if you mount it below the bottle cage bolt? It should be just clearing the big ring by about 2mm.
Edit: I see your response now to another comment re lowering it. The others are absolutely correct, this derailleur won’t work.
That’s not gonna work. Either remove the bolt and carve out some plastic on the bushing to clear the braze-on, or buy a low clamp derailleur.
It’s approx 3 feet too high
You need a braze-on front derailleur (FD-G7020-F) and a Problem Solvers Braze-on Adaptor Clamp. This will give you significantly more vertical play and with spacers will allow the use of your bottle cage. If you need more drop for whatever reason you can get, IRD Front Derailleur Dropper
it should probably b below that bolt. u only want one or 2 mm clearance from the ring and cage. worst case scenario drill out the band clamp where its interfering
What do you want to know? it’s not installed correctly and I’m positive it’s not adjusted correctly
Is there a question here or are you asking for help?
