Press that ratchet system in and let it pop out. The rough silver surfaces should be able to move back and forth. If they don’t, then your freehub will spin freely. Those hubs do just come apart like that so it’s not too serious.

You took off the cassette body part of the hub with the cassette itself, it happens with DT Swiss hubs as it is not held together by anything particular, until you install it into the frame. When it is in the frame, the through axle will push the parts together and it will operate as expected.

  3. u should have a cap from another side of the casette, also from images this seems to be DT swiss 240 same as mine, so i dont see nothing wrong, check the tooth on both casette and hub, try to clean them from grease and try ti see if will going to hold

You need to look up how ratchet hubs work. You may have lost parts flinging it around with the freehub driver off. Idk what model you have but general 350 is two springs and two ratchet teeth rings.

  5. That the freehub and cassette come off is normal, but that it spins freely both ways isn’t.

Push the cassette onto the hub. It should only spin it one direction.

Going by your photos, it looks like you’re missing the spring from behind the ratchet attached to the cassette.

The ratchet isn’t engaging in the hub. If it’s falling off so easily it may just need to be pressed on properly but check that the star ratchets are oriented the right way and that the springs are as well.

  8. Based on my professional opinion, it appears the cassette is not attached to the bike. I hope this helps.

  9. remove ratchet and clean outer side from grease, sometimes it makes the ratchet stuck on new hubs

Nothing. Carefully replace the hubbody onto the hub. This is normal. The frame with a tightened axel holds this together.
