      This place looks like a footpath and according to European traffic standards, cyclist must yield in such situations. He either couldn't stop or wouldn't want to, honking at people is no means to get or assume right of way. Whether the kneeling was intentional is accidental, isn't relevant here.When involved in an accident by fauilre of stopping before an obstacle, you must stop.
      If the cyclist had stopped and acted as it can be expected from an adult, I'm confident that they could have easily de-escalated the situation and this video wouldn't be on the internet.
      If the cyclist feels he's harrassed, he's free to sue whoever harrasses him. He fled the scene of an accident involved in , footage taken of incidents to reveal facts, are protected by law.

      The thing u guys seem to have missed is that the woman just watched as the biker hit the child. In any normal country the parents grab after the children in these kind of situations, to protect her from harm

      If he kept his mouth shut instead of suing this family,nobody would really know who tf this idiot is since he was not publicly name by anyone.And why was he telling people he scared to leave the house?No one knows you..yet!
      But now everyone is gonna witch-hunt this man😂and he gonna be done for good once and for all for his stupid behaviour towards a child.

      Majority of people are focused on the cyclist hitting the girl instead of focusing on the fact that the road fits 2 people and the parents didn't make the girl walk in front of them. Problems always start because people refuse to walk one behind another other in single file and instead take up the road so no one can pass if needed. This could have been avoided and the cyclist could have just passed them with no issue. The cyclist entered the video on the girls side so he wasn't switching to the other side because he was committed to avoiding people. He had no space to pass so he said "Fuck them kids" because he could have gotten injured. Sure, its easy to say he could have slowed down after the fact that it happened, but you weren't in that moment.

      Typical entitled family blocking the whole road because they think they can do anything just because they decided to procreate. It's common courtesy to not block the whole road and be on the lookout for people who need space while you are walking. It's also common courtesy to let the person who is faster go forward, because it's easier for the walkers to step aside than for the cyclist to stop. And the child looks well old enough to know this too. But none of then even try to move out of the way or protect the child. They just expect everyone else to cater to them and then they are shocked when their actions have consequences. If it's a bikeroad, that makes this even worse. Things like this are why society tolerates families less and less.
      Also, children fall bigger while playing, this is nothing.

      Sorry but i don't agree with most of you. If he didnt push her he would hit her with a bicycle. She could be in hospital so i think its not that big that the pushed her. You should blame the parents for not taking care of her. If they weren't walking in the middle of the road, nothing would have happened, but apparently they can't look after the child. You will not stop the bike at the moment. Anyone who resents him would do the same.

      these dumb parents should understand – they do not own the sidewalk, and that dumb mother saw him approaching, signaling, but did literally nothing. The path was so wide but they just blocked it for their own useage. I was in a situation, where parents were walking their kid out on a pump track, and were mad when I almost hit that kid… on a pump track. Those who threaten that cyclist – are just dumb as these parents in this video. You are what we call – sperm incubators, brain dead kid making factories. So many idiots here, you just do not understand there are other people around you. It's your duty to protect your kid, not let him get injured, you do not play on a roadway, do you? If there is a somebody on a sidewalk – let him pass, he signals you, respect him. That woman did nothing, she just watched. I am personally sick of parents walking on a bike lane. And it's commonly known fact, that parents of a newborn babies are low iq for a few years. I remember I was on a path and saw a man with kid approaching on their bikes – so I moved to let them pass, and that man said THANK YOU, I will remember it forever. That was a man, and you are all foging pizezovzhit. Respect each other, people, do not be an azzholes. As a parent myself I do everything to prevent my kid from an injury beforehand, rather than just stare like a dumb goat and this situation.

      I've done plenty of winter riding. He totally could've avoided that. That knee-check he gave the little girl looked 100% intentional. He has now earned the distinction of being voted the most hated cyclist in the world.

      Il est évident qu'il a délibérément exposé son genou. L'enfant a 5 ans, il y avait du vent et il portait une capuche ; il n'avait pas besoin d'entendre la sonnette. Rien ne justifie un tel comportement. Il a même porté plainte contre le père de la fillette. Il n'y a pas de honte à cela. Nous sommes tous abasourdis — moi, moi, moi et mon vélo.

      Look at his knees. Both before and after the collision, both knees are in the direction of travel. Only when passing does his left knee stick out to the side to kick the child. This idiot doesn't even consider the force (F = V * m) with which he will hit the child and how his fragile body will handle it.

      100% intentional behavior. What a bastard…
